![]() Ate mostly cold hard boiled eggs for protein. ![]() If you wanted waffles every day, cold cereal and yogurt you were all set. Fresh fruit consisted solely of bananas and apples and on ONE day we saw cut up mixed fruit. ![]() The other days were egg concoctions with other ingredients. Breakfast was just OK - what happened to simple scrambled eggs and bacon? They were served only once during the week we were there. Once in the additional room (at our expense) things improved but the following areas need mention: Our door lock was broken - we didn't discover this until the second day, so I think our door was essentially unlocked to other guests in the hotel - yikes! Maintenance was very responsive in getting to our room when we did call for service. manager by leaving voicemail and messages at the front desk were unsuccessful. ![]() Attempts to contact Jeannette M, the asst. None of us got much sleep trying to fit 3 to a bed plus one on a small couch (pull out couch mattress is HORRIBLE - should not even qualify as a mattress) Denise was very helpful in booking an additional room after our first night's stay, but she said she did have to charge me for it. We toughed it out the first night, being that it was Christmas Day. So we were stuck with the room with 1 bed for 4 people. Also, there are only 2 rooms with 2 Queens in them on the entire property and they were reserved for the entire week. We reserved a room with 2 Queens and were told upon check-in that type of room was not available - only rooms with 1 King were available. I don't like giving bad reviews, but when a hotel charges me for a second room because they don't have the room available that I reserved for the week, I am not happy. ![]()
